labyrinth man in the maze labyrinth solvitur scribendo Spiral notebook

$23.95

Original design. Made to order. Ships free.

The Man in the Maze is a sacred design of the Tohono O’odham people of southern Arizona. The figure at the top is I’itoi- Elder Brother, the creator- standing at the entrance of a labyrinth that represents a life. Every twist and turn represents a choice made. Every change of direction is a moment that made you stronger, or wiser, or knocked you flat and required you to get back up. At the very center, a final opportunity to look back on the whole journey before the Sun God greets you. Solvitur Scribendo- a play on the old Latin “solvitur ambulando.” If walking solves it for some people, writing solves it for others. Same principle, different practice: put it on the page and work it out there. This Man in the Maze notebook is for the person who works things out on the page. • Soft-touch coated covers, metal wire-o binding • 140 dotted pages, 5.5″ x 8.5″ Every turn made you who you are.
