The Story

I knew I wanted to build something for people like me – people with opinions, with faith, with a sense of humor about the whole chaotic mess of being human. People who were done pretending. People who wanted their clothing to actually MEAN something.
So I built it.
The name comes from Latin. Fortis Fidei means “Strong Faith.” Not the buttoned-up, keep-quiet-and-smile kind. The real kind – the kind that includes doubt and complexity and a lot of strong opinions.
Today, Fortis Fidei carries designs across labyrinths, dragons, faith, Gen X identity, humor & sarcasm, nature, quotes and wisdom, and more. If you live by conviction- whatever that looks like for you- there’s something here that says it out loud.

Hi, I'm Sheli
Coach. Writer. Traveler. Labyrinth walker. I built Fortis Fidei because I couldn’t find a brand that said what I actually believed. So I made one.
(And no, I don’t have it all figured out. That’s kind of the point.)
