About the Brand
What does 'Fortis Fidei' mean?
It’s Latin for “Strong Faith”- but before you assume this is a strictly religious brand, let me clarify: it’s not.
“Faith” here is bigger than any one tradition. It’s faith in your convictions. Faith in your values. Faith in the things that make you YOU- whether that’s your spirituality, your sense of humor, your stubbornness, your love of dragons, or your Gen X refusal to take anything too seriously.
Fortis Fidei exists for people who know who they are and aren’t interested in apologizing for it. That’s the whole thing, right there.
Where are Fortis Fidei products manufactured?
Fortis Fidei uses a variety of Print on Demand vendors to source and print our products. Our primary vendors are Printful (based in Charlotte, NC), and Printify (with its primary hub in San Francisco, CA), and Gelato (which has facilities in Atlanta, GA).
Products are sourced from all over the world, including (but not limited to) the United States, the EU, China, and Vietnam.
Products & Designs
How do I know what size to order?
I’ve tried to note whether sometthing runs small or large in the description, but each product page includes a size chart- so always refer to the chart for best sizing.Remember that sizing can vary between product types and vendors, so what fits you in one style might not be the same in another. When in doubt, size up. It’s a lot easier to throw something in the dryer to shrink it slightly than to squeeze into something that’s too small. (Ask me how I know.)
How do I care for my products?
Care instructions vary based on each product, so follow the care instructions included with each product and use common sense.
When in general doubt- cold wash, hang dry. It’s never steered anyone wrong.
Are your designs exclusive to Fortis Fidei?
Yes. Every design in this shop is original and created exclusively for Fortis Fidei. You won’t find them on any other brand or thirdparty
design site- but you WILL find them on our Etsy store and Amazon, where we also sell for wider reach.
Can I request a design on a product that isn't currently listed?
Possibly! If you see a design that you love on a product (like a mug), but you want it on a hoodie or a tote- whatever isn’t currently showing in the store- reach out via the contact form and tell me what you’re thinking. I can’t guarantee it’s doable, but I’m always happy to explore it.
Do you accept special orders or custom requests?
If you see an item you love but want it tweaked slightly, contact me and we’ll talk! I can’t promise it can be done, but let’s explore the possibilities!
Shipping & Orders
How long does shipping take?
Longer than Amazon Prime. (Fair warning.) Because our products are made to order- meaning nothing is sitting in a warehouse waiting for you- there’s a production window before your item even ships. Production typically takes 2-7 business days depending on the product and vendor, and then standard shipping adds another 3-7 business days on top of that.
Translation: plan for 1-2 weeks from order to doorstep, sometimes faster. We’ll send you tracking info once your order ships so you’re not left wondering.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, I only offer shipping (and free, at that!) within the United States.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you’ll get a tracking notification via the email address you used at checkout. If you don’t see it, check your spam folder first- then reach out using the contact form and we’ll look into it.
My order arrived damaged or incorrect- what do I do?
Don’t stress. It happens, and we’ll make it right. Reach out via the contact form with your order number and a photo of the issue.
Damaged or incorrect items are covered- we’ll get a replacement ordered for you.
Are any of these products available in offline boutiques?
At this time, I do not offer any products for sale in physical retail locations. Everything is found online- either here, on Etsy, or through Amazon. You’ll find the lowest prices here on the site, since Etsy and Amazon both charge sellers hefty fees that get built into the price. The other platforms are there for visibility and reach- but if you want the best deal, you’re already in the right place.
Payment & Pricing
Why are prices lower here than on Etsy or Amazon?
Simple: Etsy and Amazon both charge sellers significant fees to list and sell there- and those fees get built into the price you pay.
When you buy directly from fortisfidei.com, we’re not paying those platform fees, which means we can offer you a better price. Same products, same quality, lower cost. Buying direct also means more of your money goes toward supporting the brand rather than a marketplace. Win-win.

Returns & Exchanges
How can I return or exchange a Fortis Fidei product?
Please see our Return Policy.
Fortis Fidei uses print-on-demand manufacturers, so we are not able to accommodate straight exchanges. Items must be returned and the new or correct size or style purchased as a separate transaction. We apologize for this inconvenience, but are restricted by the limitations of our POD vendors.
Practical
Do you offer gift wrapping or gift messages?
Not at this time. Because our products are fulfilled directly by our print-on-demand vendors, we don’t have the ability to add gift wrapping or handwritten notes to orders. If that changes, we’ll update this page.
Do you have a discount or loyalty program?
