labyrinth Abingdon labyrinth solvitur scribendo Spiral notebook

$23.95

Original design. Made to order. Ships free.

The Abingdon labyrinth dates from the 11th century- appearing as an illustration in a manuscript produced near Oxford, England. Known to labyrinth enthusiasts but never built, never walked. Not until 2009, when it was finally recreated in physical form at St. Michael and All Angels Church in Abingdon. A design that waited almost a thousand years to be walked. Solvitur Scribendo- a play on the old Latin “solvitur ambulando.” If walking solves it for some people, writing solves it for others. Same principle, different practice: put it on the page and work it out there. This Abingdon Labyrinth notebook is for the person who works things out on the page. • Soft-touch coated covers, metal wire-o binding • 140 dotted pages, 5.5″ x 8.5″ Worth the wait.
