The Santa Rosa Labyrinth was created in 1997 by Lea Goode-Harris- an art therapist and psychologist who watched a design rise up from the page over several days of sketching. What sets it apart is the heart-space: a small open area on the fourth circuit, approached from all four directions. Some people leave flowers there. Some people stop and breathe. It is a pause point.
Solvitur Ambulando is Latin for “it is solved by walking.” Attributed to St. Augustine and later embraced by Diogenes, Thoreau, and everyone who has ever laced up their shoes to outpace their own thoughts. The science backs it up: walking a labyrinth has been shown to lower cortisol, reduce blood pressure, and support emotional processing. Sometimes the answer isn’t in your head. It’s in the walk.
This Santa Rosa Labyrinth muscle shirt is for the walker drawn to this specific path. For the person who doesn’t sit still when working something out. Who finds clarity in the walk, not the waiting. Who doesn’t need to explain the practice to anyone- but wouldn’t mind wearing it.
