Honestly, this is a re-tread. I saw this phrase somewhere and it resonated in me with every fiber of my being. I mean, who walks around acknowledging that they are weird? Back in the 70’s and 80’s, “weirdo” ranked as a hurtful and offensive insult.
This design makes me laugh every time I look at it. The way the text sizes work together is perfect – from far away it looks like a simple apology, but get closer and you realize it’s actually the most honest explanation ever given. It’s like wearing a public service announcement about your personality. No more confusion, no more mixed signals- just a straightforward admission that weird is your default setting.
I designed the print sizes intentionally to create this layered humor. The big “SORRY” grabs attention like you’re about to give a sincere apology, and then the small text delivers the plot twist. It’s not really an apology at all- it’s an explanation. And honestly, it’s probably the most helpful thing you could tell people about yourself right upfront.
This design is for everyone who’s tired of pretending to be normal when normal is boring anyway. Why apologize for being interesting? Why feel bad about being the person who asks random questions, tells weird stories, or just sees the world a little differently? Some of us are weird, and that’s not a bug- it’s a feature. 🤣😂 At least now people will know what they’re getting into.
