I’ve always struggled with the word “normal.” Really, what does that even mean? The older I get, the more I realize that our differences aren’t flaws to be fixed—they’re superpowers waiting to be recognized.

We all know it’s true, but somehow we keep living like we have endless amounts of time to get around to the things that actually matter. We’ll call that friend tomorrow. We’ll take that trip next year. We’ll have that conversation when things calm down.”
