Autism Is My Superpower: Celebrating Different Ways of Being
I’m not autistic, but some of the people I love most in this world are. And while never formally diagnosed, people have been free with the term ADD and ADHD when referencing me, my behaviors and the way I think and emote. 🤷🏽♀️😬
What I’ve learned from all that is that those “different” ways of thinking and experiencing the world are actually unique abilities. The intense focus that can solve problems others can’t crack. The attention to detail that catches what everyone else misses. The beautiful honesty that cuts through small talk and gets right to what matters.
I designed this “Autism Is My Superpower” line as a celebration of neurodiversity and a reminder that our differences make us stronger, not weaker. It’s not about ignoring challenges; Navigating a neurotypical world when your brain works differently IS challenging!
Instead, it’s about recognizing the incredible strengths that come with those different ways of processing. The rainbow infinity symbol represents the infinite spectrum of autism and the beautiful diversity within the autism community.
What if we started seeing all forms of neurodiversity not as problems to be solved but as superpowers to be harnessed? What might we discover about ourselves and each other? I believe there isn’t just one “right” way to be human- there are many ways to think, to communicate, to connect, to love, and they’re all valuable. Sometimes the very thing that makes us different is exactly what makes us special.
